You might have seen this “Szakadok!” image on the Internet and wondered what does it mean. Well, if somebody reacts to a comment or post with this image, it means, that they think it’s very funny, or it is anything but funny (you know, irony). Btw it also means, that the rain itself is saying, that it’s pouring heavily. 😀

szakad az eső [ˈsɑkɑd ɑz ɛʃøː] – it’s pouring with rain
szakadok a röhögéstől [ˈsɑkɑdok ɑ røhøɡeːʃtøːl] – I’m laughing so hard
[Literally::: I’m getting torn apart of laughing]

szétszakadok a röhögéstől – I’m laughing so hard
[Literally::: I’m getting torn apart of laughing]

szétszakadni – to bust; to tear apart; to split apart
szakadni
1) (intransitive) to split; to tear (clothing)
2) (intransitive) to stream; to pour (rain)

röhögés [ˈrøhøɡeːʃ] – guffaw; snicker
röhögni [ˈrøhøɡni] – to guffaw; to snicker; to giggle; to laugh
